Brew For Heroes

Brew For Heroes is our way of generating a collective thanks from us and our customers to local key workers and volunteers helping our community through a very testing time.

Back in April, you voted for a Belgian-inspired ale, which we’re pleased to say has now landed! Our taste testers have given it the thumbs up and we’re starting to distribute.

Over the next few weeks, we’re going to be giving some of it directly to key worker organisations, some of it to retailers to distribute and we’ll also sell a limited amount of it on our online shop. In total, the brew yielded some 2,400 bottles of beer, but we recognise that doesn’t go very far. For that reason, all of the proceeds from our direct sales of Brew For Heroes will go directly into our new Foundation (more details on that to follow), which will aim to support our local community (in its own small way) on an ongoing basis. COVID-19 has shown us just how important these pillars of our community are. So we’d like to continue to say thank you - with a beer, where possible!

If you’re a key worker or volunteer or carer, look out for this poster in the windows of the below retailers/pubs - if more outlets are added, we’ll post those updates on our social media pages. We don’t expect that stocks will last very long, so you’d better hurry, and don’t forget your work ID!
